ABOUT US
Audient Group
Fighting fraud is a team sport
Audient Group was founded by an Olympian in the sport of rowing, Linda Miller, and as such, teamwork is in our DNA. In the 2000 Olympics, for the USA women's rowing team to succeed, each member had to trust the person in front of and behind them. To us, teamwork is synonymous with trust, authenticity, and human connection. As a boutique consulting firm, we prioritize building genuine connections with our clients, taking the time to listen and understand their unique needs, and delivering customized solutions. We are committed to building long-lasting relationships based on trust. We are more than just consultants – we are teammates, dedicated to helping our clients reach the finish line.

Why Team with us

We wrote the book on fraud risk management, literally.
Audient Group’s founder served on the task force that developed the GAO Fraud Risk Management Guide, has testified before Congress on fraud and improper payments, and has helped draft antifraud legislation. You won’t find a more authoritative source for antifraud solutions.

We listen first
Audient is the Latin word for “they will listen.” We listen first and seek to understand your organization and unique situation before offering solutions. We draw on decades of experience which position us to derive insights and craft right-sized, cost-effective solutions to any fraud concern

We are a firm of public servants
Our team has experience in the government trenches—having worked in both government operations and oversight environments. We understand the unique challenges government leaders face because we have been there.
Our Proven Results
Audient Group has supported some of the largest federal agencies in leveling up their fraud risk management programs. Among the results we have helped achieve for our clients:
We have established a proprietary, data-driven fraud exposure assessment methodology, which uses fraud risk factors supported by data to establish a quantitative prioritization of areas of highest exposure to fraud risk, allowing us to target our fraud risk activities to those that have the potential to impact our clients the most.
We developed an industry-leading Anti-fraud Playbook for a large Department level agency that provides guidance, tools and templates for Department-level, component-level. and state-level activities to assist them in building a robust fraud risk management program aligned with GAO leading practices.
We have conducted maturity assessments of the fraud risk management programs of several federal agencies using our proprietary maturity model, which provides a roadmap of prioritized activities to boost the maturity of those programs.
